Trick or Alice

I played this game because well, I love Otome Games with Alice in Wonderland Themes like Heart no Kuni no Alice so I tried this one. Forgive me since my Japanese is limited.

You play here as Arissa, a loli girl with bewbs who lives with her ‘onii-chan” named Shizuku. On her birthday she was taken by a guy with black bunny ears to a place called wonderland where everyone looks like those people she knew in her world, and this everyone keeps calling her Alice. Well, it's up to Alice or Arisa, if she wants to stay in Wonderland or go back to her world.

Cheshire: I first played his route because I thought he’s a full Casanova which I was proven wrong when I played the game. He likes to tease Alice, and he’s a stripper. I’m serious he strips every time he has a chance and everyone seems to have a bad impression of him. He’s name in the other world is Kurotani Nao and he likes being called Nyao-senpai and is very popular.

In his route, he was revealed to be a KoiNeko of Wonderland. Somewhat like a host as his role in that world and Alice found him with a leash when she entered his room. Cheshire will say he’s not good for her because he’s good for nothing and she confessed and kissed him. They were having strawberry time when a random woman knocked the door and Alice has to go hiding.

This is my favorite scene in the whole game.

Then he told Alice to believe in him since he was doing something for their happiness so she has to believe in him and stay in her room like a good girl. Alice then found out the next day that he has been caught by the queen and went to rescue him. When they arrived on her room, he got angry because of what Alice did but said sorry for being so. Then he said he has yet to forgive her and they went and do it. 

There’s also a scene where they went and did it in the bathroom. X’D In the near end of the Wonderland Route, he fought with queen and Kurousagi seems to accept their relationship even though he was against with it at first. Kurono was like “Disappear! Disappear!” Then when Kurousagi was like “Okay.” He cried and said “No don’t”. Talk about drugs.

This scene made me look my screen for the third time:

And then I was like, Oh yeah he is the Cheshire, alright. I almost forgot.

In his other world route, Cheshire wanted to run away with her from Wonderland. He told Alice that they should steal the book from Kurousagi and destroy one of them and they should jump to other world. Kurousagi was like the main villain in this one, he was not this yandere in the other routes, maybe he just hates Cheshire so much and doesn’t want Alice to go to someone he hates. But he accepted their relationship for Alice’s happiness, he destroyed the book himself and let them go. Wonderland was gone and in the end, shows a CG of them going to school together, with Nao teasing Arissa if she’s jealous of the girls coming to him.

Should I still mention his bad ends? He died in all of them X’D

Shadow: I played Shadow next because well, he’s like Shota. I thought I’ll be enjoying his route but he was annoying. No seriously annoying. he’s a yandere. He’s very hard to reason with in his route. 

He has this serious complex with his brother and likes to compete with him. He’s also annoying in Raito’s route. I think I just hate Yandere characters.

At first it was cute but then he started to show signs of a Yandere character, and I am about to close the game but I decided to push since I was curious. And I was right! It all started when he threw the flower he showed Alice, which he named Alice because he said he didn’t need it anymore since Alice was here. So Alice became down because she thought of he could throw away something valuable like the flower, he might throw her as well someday. He did it with Alice in the forest, tied her and blindfolded her in his room and did it with her, drugged her with food and locked her in his room. Talk about crazy. Then he got worried that Alice won’t eat, “WHO’LL HAVE AN APPETITE IF YOU KEEP DRUGGING HER AND HAD HER LOCKED UP?” so yeah I was pissed off but Yandere fans will like him for sure. 

Kurousagi then rescued her with Raito who tricked his brother to come out and leave Alice. Then Kurousagi brought Alice to Elizabeth when Jikan came and said that Shadow is on rampage, kidnapping Kurono as hostage. Alice then went to him and reasoned with him but he’s just too stupid to do so. Kurono got out of the ropes (?!) and tried to slash Shadow but was rescued by his brother. Raito butted in to reason with him and challenged him to satisfy him (Poor Raito, you have to deal with your brother’s antics), the Shadow won and Kurousagi told them to go back. 

In Alice’s room, Alice assured him of her love for him and he became a bashful boy. They went and did it and he started to cry and thank her for choosing him despite of all the terrible things he did. Oh good we can talk to you now.

In the end CG, Shadow, baked stuff for Tea Party since Kurono escaped and has yet to come back.

In the other world route, he took Alice to some world similar to the other world. This was the world of his heart. He brought his brother as well. I really pity Raito for having such brother. Then he was showing Raito that he and Alice loves each other blah blah. When Alice and Raito entered a room, they found a large heart in the room with Shadow. Then ran away because he’s mad, then Shadow was saying, “Even here, you’ll run away.” Then like the wonderland route, Alice has to reason with him while Kurousagi was breaking his heart so Alice could escaped.

The end CG shows the two of them looking at a flower in a world the two of them created.

Raito: MY FAVORITE ROUTE! His name’s Light but let’s call him Raito. He’s such a darling boy. He’s a tsundere but the more sensible of the twins. He’s the younger brother of Shadow and he always hangs out in the library. Alice thought he hates her but it’s because he thought she hates him as well. 

See? He’s blushing. So cute. He blushes every time Alice gets near him and then he goes kissing her out of nowhere and said sorry afterwards X’DDD Anyways, Kurousagi approves of him since he’s a good guy. Out of all the guys before, only he has a good impression of  Kurousagi. 

He’s also aware of his brother’s obsession over Alice so he even tried to hide when they are together. Oh my, he’s so considerate but went out with her when she confessed. 

Well, as expected his brother was the main obstacle because he’s just as annoying in his route. He was desperate in obtaining Alice and even using the book to get her. Trying to make her believe that he is Raito and his boyfriend. At one bad end, he succeeded in doing so. 

Kurousagi noticed this and tried to stop Shadow from doing so. Along with Cheshire. Then Shadow said he tried to use the other world since he can’t get Alice in wonderland. Then teared the book. He was taken somewhere and needed to be rescued. Raito and Alice waited for Kurousagi but they can’t find him so Raito volunteered to find him along with Alice. They found him in a hole in the classroom in the other world and was still being stupid and hard to reason with. When he was back to his senses, they lost him. They went back to Kurousagi and the others and told Raito that he can’t go back without his twin because they are like one and the same in that world. But Wonderland was a world made for Alice’s Happiness so without Raito she won’t be happy. He then assured Alice that he’ll come back for her so she should stay happy and go back. In the End CG, he fulfilled his promise to her with Shadow on the background.

In the wonderland route, Shadow being a bastard as usual, beat and kicked Raito in front of Alice. Raito didn’t fought back though and just tried to reason with him. In the end, Shadow gave up and went out of the room. The end cg for this one shows, Shadow teasing the two of them asking if he could borrow Alice.

His love letter was cute. In his wonderland love letter, he was such a cutie darling boy blushing and all, while in the other world route, he could actually speak straight thanking Alice for waiting for him. He has grown so much *sniffs*

Round: I didn't played his route seriously, sorry. Someone might do a better summary because I don’t like his jumpy character so I just went on to just get over it for the sake of the CG’s.

Anyways, Round was a god forsaken character because he didn't appear much in other routes that much since he’s always sleeping. He’s also a jumpy character and likes hugging Alice out of the blue. 

In his wonderland end, he and Alice became sleeping partners//slapped. Greeting each other good morning and about the tea party.

In the other world end, he and Alice were eating in the roof for lunch with Alice love made bento for him.

He might have a decent route but sorry, I didn't really played it that much.

He needs more love but sorry I didn't give him the love he deserves ;w;)d

Kurousagi: The main character at last! His choices were hidden if you choose the wrong option it won’t appear, I even have to ask help for his route. He has lots of name in the game: Kurousagi, Shirousagi, Shizuku, Charles, Oniichan//slapped. 

He was the one who took you to Wonderland and the one who made wonderland for Alice. 

He also has the prettiest CG”s to be honest. Look the following stuff.

In Cheshire’s route he was being a little Yandere but still reserved and sensible so I was praying hard that he isn't since, I have enough Yandere because of Shadow. 

Anyways, there’s a lot of explanation of Wonderland in his route and he was saying Shizuku don’t really exist and all. I was not paying attention anymore since I was playing his very early in the morning and I was sleepy.

Anyways, the obstacle in his route is Kurono. They should have bombed him with Shadow already. Because Kurono got lonely because he felt betrayed by Kurousagi, talk about BL X’D

Along with Alice, they kept on jumping from the other world to another. There are lots of World Jumping in his route.

I don’t like his Wonderland route since Alice remembered the first time she was in wonderland when she was all high and mighty. Then Alice became a Queen after killing the Queen of Hearts and they rule wonderland.They even decided to kill Cheshire (No, you don’t).

This might be the general bad ending since this is the main route?

In the other route, was a very happy ever after for everyone. They had reasoned well with Kurono, Wonderland was destroyed but everyone was saved and they lived normally in the other world. Elizabeth, Jikan and Kurono lived in Arissa and Shizuku’s home and the others were transported there. Arissa’s memory about wonderland were erased though but she can remember the she and Shizuku were lovers. And they all lived happily ever after. Ending CG of them going to school together. I guess this is true ending?

Over all conclusion of the game: What do you know? I enjoyed it.

There’s a bug though in the library scene with Round, where he goes jumping near you and all the characters after, are also jumping lelz. There’s also this sound effects that won;t go away until you exit the game to the title menu if you skipped dialogues,

There’s also a 2 or 3 strange CG’s in the tralalala scenes. I don’t know if it’s because of the censorship but it just looks weird.

But despite the strange CG and the bugs the game itself is pretty decent. The art is lovely and the music is nice. 

My favorite route would be Raito’s and my favorite character is Cheshire since I always like characters who like to tease people. 

I didn’t play the other ends of Alice besides the dead end one when she remembered everything, Kurono’s and Jikan’s. Also the other bad ends for the other obtainable characters, I’ll have my other friends, do that for me.

Round » Shadow » Raito » Cheshire » Kurousagi

Or you can switch Raito and Cheshire. But that’s my recommended order if you decided to play this one.
